vegetablesWA is the peak industry body for vegetable growers in Western Australia. They represent many of the producers who grow the fresh produce West Australians love to use! Their purpose is to assist growers, industry and government maintain a profitable and sustainable vegetable industry.

Western Australia’s key vegetable growing regions include Perth, Gingin, Geraldton, Gascoyne, the South West and Albany, and vegetable production in the state spans over 10,000 hectares. Because of the different climatic conditions, a range of vegetables can be grown all year round. Some of the largest crops of WA veggies are carrots, sweet corn, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and melons.

vegetablesWA offers a range of services to the 1000 Western Australian growers it represents including advocacy and representation, export development, marketing and business services. Informative publications about the local vegetable growing industry are available on their website.
