Western Australia’s key vegetable growing regions include Perth, Gingin, Geraldton, Gascoyne, the South West and Albany, and vegetable production in the state spans over 10,000 hectares. Because of the different climatic conditions, a range of vegetables can be grown all year round. Some of the largest crops of WA veggies are carrots, sweet corn, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and melons.
