WA Day event inspires Currumbine customers

On the 28th May, Farmer Jack’s newest store in Currumbine held the WA Food Fest – an event showcasing the best of WA produce along with Buy West Eat Best and the Swan Valley. The event was a fantastic opportunity for customers to sample something new and different, as well as get some tips from chefs from Fillaudeau’s Restaurant and Taylor’s in the Swan Valley.

There was a wide range of demonstrations in the shop, including meats, seafood, fruits and vegetables plus read-to-eat meals. Customers were able to enjoy a taste of everything as they went about their Saturday shopping!

Fred Fairthorne, Managing Director of Farmer Jack’s supermarkets said “There is no better way to show your support of our farmers, fisherman and producers then by simply buying their products and keeping them in business.”

Adding to the excitement of the event was the launch of Farmer Jack’s competition to win a $3000 wellness package with KalyaaNa Spa & Wellness Retreat in Bridgetown which is open until Saturday 9th July.  Just head on over to our competitions page to enter!
